So it’s nearing February and it’s starting to get pretty cold. You want to start dating but you can’t think of anything to go do. You’ve done enough movie and bowling dates during the winter that you would rather just go cold turkey until it warms up enough to be able to go do something creative outside. Well the truth of the matter is that winter time can be one of the best seasons for dating! There are many different date ideas that you can do if you are willing to think outside of the box for a little bit and get a little unconventional.
One great dating idea for the cold weather is to go visit a zoo or a an aquarium. The animals don’t just disappear for the winter and come out again in the summer, they have to do something during the cold months too. This can actually be quite a romantic setting as you get all bundled up to go see the animals. Not only that, you probably won’t have to worry about running into nearly as many people as you would have to if you went on a warmer day in the summer.
Another great winter date idea is to try out that little fondue machine that has been sitting in your house for a couple years. Try some melted chocolate fondue and dip pretzels, marshmallows, strawberries, and whatever else you can think of into it. This is a creative way for you to be able to spend time with your date while having something simple to do. Just making the treats can be a fun way to get to know each other and you can even have some food fights if you want things to get even more interesting.
These are just a couple of ideas but if you start to think about it you can come up with quite a few more.
